History of M.O.S.

Our Story

From our darkest times comes the opportunity for our greatest triumphs.

It Started With A Car Ride

We didn’t know it at the time, but the inception of M.O.S — Members of Service — was formed during a car ride to an alcohol and drug rehab facility located in Waverly, Pennsylvania.

Jake, Co-Owner, Firefighter and Marine Corps Vet, and Anthony, Co-Owner and Firefighter, having answered the call for help, stepped up to drive Joe — Founder, Firefighter and former EMS — from The Bronx, NY to PA so that he could begin his journey of sobriety.

That drive is why this company exists.

Who We Are

Three men who work the same shifts as the people we build for. Veteran and first responder owned and operated.

  • Founder

    Joe

Firefighter and former EMS. The reason the drive happened, and the reason the company did.

  • Co-Owner

    Jake

Firefighter and Marine Corps veteran. Answered the call for help, then helped build what came after it.

  • Co-Owner

    Anthony

Firefighter. Made the same drive, and has been in it since day one.

Why We Built A Pouch

Currently working as firefighters in a busy metropolitan area in NY, we realized we needed a stronger energy pouch to get through a 24 hour shift where lack of sleep is just a way of life.

Nothing on the shelf was doing the job. Most of what we found was dosed for someone at a desk. So we built the one we actually needed — and then we tested it on the job, during periods of minimal rest and irregular sleep schedules, by military and first responders.

Not in a focus group. On a 24.

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver an exceptional energy pouch that is crafted to enhance energy, wakefulness, and mood in any member of service that works long grueling hours with minimal rest.

  • Members of Service

We believe in a mission to help others in need, because we see all of humanity as Members of Service.

  • Built On The Job

Tested during periods of minimal rest and irregular sleep by military and first responders who work those hours.

  • Nothing Hidden

Every milligram is printed on the label. No proprietary blends, no rounding, no guessing.

We Aren’t Your Average White-Collar Pouch

Most other pouch brands contain much lower caffeine levels and focus on enhancing memory, focus, and energy for desk work, or for the fitness enthusiast who works a 9–5.

M.O.S focuses on those members of service who experience mentally and physically demanding work while enduring minimal rest. That’s why our pouches are designed to enhance wakefulness and mood in order to get the mission done.

Where The Profits Go

A portion of our profits is donated to help members of our military and first responders who are suffering from substance abuse, and to eliminate veteran and first responder suicide.

We started in a car on the way to rehab. We have not forgotten that.
